German Shepherd - Male, 10months old, Very good with other dogs and cats, Good with older kids and ok with people.  He is a bit nervous when he first meets new people but soon makes friends, a very nice boy.

Male, 7 years old, Nice Gentleman.  Bobby has been Vaccinated, Wormed and Flea treated.  He is Housetrained, Good with Children and can be left for 3 hrs.  He says he does not want to live with cats.

Please find it in your heart to give a home to the lovely old boy who has years of love and devotion yet to give.

Staffie, Female, 3 years old, lived with children 3 & 4 years old and is very friendly, gentle and loving, Ok with dogs but no cats. Can be left for up to 4 hours.  Very sweet girl, so affectionate and loving, an ideal pet.

Greyhound, Male, 3 years old,  good with children and ok with dogs, very friendly with people.  Came in recently very underweight and needs a good loving home to nurse him back to health.

Greyhound, Female, sister to Mandy above,  they have been together all their lives.  They are 5 years old, ok with larger dogs but not good with small dogs and animals.  They are great with children and only need rehoming due to family bereavement.  They are both ex racers and Jess raced up to last spring.   The NASATrust is seeking to home Mandy & Jess together to avoid the stress of splitting them up.  They are very soft, sweet, gentle and loving dogs who will make great family pets and give back so much affection.

Greyhound. West Highland White, Male (Neutered), 2 years old, A nice boy who is scared of strangers at first but soon warms to be very affectionate.  Family circumstances force re-homing.

Laddie looks like an older Greyhound, possibly retired or discarded racing dog.  No info supplied but he needs a good home.  If you can offer him a loving home, please call us on the number below for more information.

Male, 5 years in Feb, Ex Racer who is no longer any use to the industry.  He is most likely good with other large dogs, most likely chases cats or any small furry animal.

A lovely gentle boy who is so affectionate.  He buries his head in your arms when you stroke him.  He so needs a good loving home, please call us.

Blue

Male, 5 years old, Not raced much.  Probably not good with small dogs, cats or other small furry animals. 

He prefers the indoors and walks well on a lead.  He is a bit more lively than other Greyhounds but not to the point of being a problem, he is very loving and like all Greys he doesn't need much exercise.  He grins when excited.  A good walk every day will keep him happy.

Maggie - Staffie, Female, 5ish  years old, no longer wanted by owner.  Nice girl, probably had pups at some time in the past.  She is very affectionate and seems to like dogs.  She hates the kennels so if you like her don't wait to call.

Oscar

Lurcher (small),  Male, 1 1/2 years old, good with dogs, people and children.

Oscar was found and taken from the strays kennels and has since been in a foster home.  He is Neutered,  Microchipped and can be left for 3 to 4 hours.  Since he loves other dogs it would be nice if he went to a home with another dog to be his friend.  He is very soft and loving with a hint of mischief.

Mastiff cross, Female, around 1 year old, Neutered, Microchipped, Vaccinated.

Family pet that can no longer be kept.  Good with dogs, children from 7 years up.  Although suppose to be a Mastiff she does not have the look or personality of a Mastiff.  She is a very friendly and affectionate, Eager to please and will make a loving family pet.  Very nice dog!

Lurcher cross, Female, 4 months old, Vaccinated and Microchipped.

A nice pup who will make a loving family companion.

Labrador pup, Male, 6 months old, Good with Children and Dogs.

He is nearly full grown with a bit of filling out to do, a lovely dog with a great personality and temperament, so friendly and playful.  Young Labs are energetic, playful and mischievous  dogs so you should be prepared to exercise and train him.  You will get so much more back from him it will be worth every moment.

Rowley

Staffie (small), Male,  1 1/2 ish years old, Dark Brown with Brindle specks, very affectionate to people and children.  He is very stressed in kennels so please help him quickly.  He tugs on his lead and that is his only fault so far.  He is clean in his kennel and goes up to other kennels to sniff and be friendly with the dogs so there is a good chance he will be dog friendly.  He has been given up for re-homing because his previous owner worked all day and Rowley chewed and barked so the landlord said he had to go.

Rowley has been flea treated and wormed and is a very affectionate little fellow who will make a nice pet.

Buster

Jack Russell, Male (Neutered), 2 1/2 years old.

Buster is not fond of dogs or small children but loves people and teens.  He is a very nice, active dog who has so much love to share.  We feel his problem with other dogs can be overcome in time.  If you like Jacks you will love Buster, he is pretty typical of the breed.

Zeus & Zara

Zeus and Zara are Brother and Sister Born 24/04/2000 , hopefully they can be re-homed together.

They are both Microchipped, but the vaccination and worming have expired.   Both are Neutered.

They both live with a little dog and seven cats without problems. 

Zara is quite nervous and can be a little unsure of other dogs when she is out.  She has gained so much confidence in the last five years, she loves the attention and being fussed.

Zeus is a big laid back Teddy Bear of a Dog.  He is gentle, friendly and loves burying his head in your lap for a cuddle.  He has a reoccurring yeast infection in his right ear which requires regular cleaning and sometimes drops from the vets.

Female, 3 years old, Good dogs and everything.  She loves her walks and having her tummy tickled.  She has been vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.

Bessie is a very sweet and loving dog, she will make a wonderful addition to your home.

Prince

Greyhound, Male (Neutered), 5 years old. Striking colour and markings!

He is good with other dogs when introduced properly, housetrained, very good manners, in fact he is the perfect greyhound.  He loves his walks and does not pull.  His 1st owner collapsed in the street and Prince stayed with him until the police arrived.  His present owner must rehome him due to ill health.

Female, about 1 year old, Mixed Breed, Flea and Worm Treated on 4-12-07.

Originally a stray but went to a home (not through NASAT) for a while then came back today.  She is very gentle and affectionate, very shy so may have been treated badly at some time in the past, she is a very friendly to dogs but we don't know much else about her.  She will make a very nice friend once she bonds and settles in with you.

Mungo

Mungo is a English Bull Terrier cross.  He is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years old.  We have very little history.  He sometimes barks at strangers when they approach his kennel but is very friendly and affectionate immediately when he meets them.  he does not like the dark or fireworks and is waiting for a new owner to come and take him out of the kennel.
