VOLUNTEERING AT NASAT

Our volunteers care for dogs at our kennels in three different shifts (morning, lunchtime and evening).  They help keep the dogs in our care happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated while we find their forever homes.

A typical shift might include:

Exercise & Enrichment: Taking dogs on structured walks, playing games in the outside runs, and providing mental stimulation (like puzzle toys or basic training).

Kennel Care & Comfort: Helping keep the dogs healthy and comfortable by cleaning kennels, refreshing water bowls, and feeding.

Socialisation: Spending quiet time with shy or nervous dogs to help build their confidence and trust in humans

Housekeeping: Dealing with donations, laundry and general cleaning
